Scenic Master Carpenter: $19.00-$21.00/hr
Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following.

Assist supervising carpenters and crew in the proper execution of design elements based on technical drawings and production requirements. Maintain organization of the shop, storage, stage and backstage areas.

Responsible for leading the construction, assembly, and finishing of scenic elements for productions, ensuring all builds meet the required quality standards, safety standards and deadlines. Also providing training when needed for equipment / tools or construction techniques.

Assist the Shop Foreman by enforcing safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all shop personnel. Make sure all equipment is maintained and operated according to safety regulations.

Maintain accurate inventory of materials, tools, and equipment. Coordinate with the Shop Foreman any concerns or shortages of necessary resources.

Work closely with the Shop Foreman and Technical Director to ensure scenic designs are executed accurately. Provide input on the feasibility of designs and suggest cost-effective or practical alternatives when needed.

Inspect finished scenic elements to ensure they meet the required aesthetic, functional, and safety standards.

Provide guidance and training to seasonal staff, helping them develop their skills and understanding of the craft.

Theatre in the Park Scenic Carpenter: $16.00 - $18.00/hr
Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following.

The Scenic Carpenters are responsible for the construction and fabrication of all Theatre in the Park scenic elements and are expected to be able to work both independently and with other team members under the supervision of the Scene Shop Foreman and / or the Master Carpenter.

Utilizing several theatrical construction techniques Carpenters will be building on site in the Scene Shop located backstage at Theatre in the Park

It is rare that we rent set pieces, so all scenic elements are fabricated onsite by our staff using several different materials (lumber, steel, PVC, foam, etc.) within our production deadlines.

The best candidates will have the ability to work at a steady pace and still maintain attention to detail.

Theatre in the Park Scenic Crew: $14.00 - $16.00/hr
Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following.

Scenic Crew is an entry level position with the primary responsibility of assisting Scenic Carpenters and Painters building and finish the scenic elements for our shows as well as helping with turnovers.
-
Additionally, crew members will be asked to perform some tasks on their own (base painting, producing cut lists, prep work areas, etc.) with instruction provided.

This is a support position, so it is a good way to build experience in both scenic fabrication and painting, as you will be expected to help with both building and painting.

Scenic Crew schedule is Sunday - Thursday 7am - 3:45pm with 2 - 15min breaks and a 45min lunch.

Theatre in the Park Front of House Staff: $14.00/hr
Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following.

Greets patrons, answers questions, and promotes friendly atmosphere.

Sells tickets for shows and takes payment and makes change.
-
Answers questions concerning schedules, reservations and gives information concerning coming attractions.

Keeps daily balance sheet of cash received and tickets sold.
-
Monitors gate area and takes tickets.
-
Directs cars in parking lot to proper parking spaces.
-
Sells select merchandise before and during shows.
-
Contacts supervisor with problems concerning equipment or patrons.
-
Assists with cleaning of the theater and its front of house facilities.
